Budget + Beers @ Stoney’s 2023

This past September 2023 we had our highest attended HSGD in Denver event, engaging folks again in the city budget process as outlined above, again at Stoney's!

Gratefully, we were co-sponsored by Denver Democratic Socialists of America, so we were able to provide some delicious snacks.  Following this event our city saw huge engagement across the city in our city's budgeting process (not just due to our event but due to so many community groups' amazing advocacy work!), which is where some of our future work is taking HSGD - to engage community organizations in a process to coalesce around a People's Budget that is drawn by the community.
